Joy of Massage
Dedicated to Therapeutic Wellness In a Relaxing Environment
Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use; the ancient Hindus, Persians, and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments. Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. Today, the benefits of massage are varied and far-reaching. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions including low back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity suppression and relaxation.
There are many benefits to massage. Here are some of the ways massage can help you:
- relaxing the body
- loosening of tight muscles
- relieving tired and achy muscles
- increasing flexibility and range of motion
- diminishing chronic pain
- calming the nervous system

Finding the right massage therapist is extremely important. My clients know that I am a great listener and understand their needs. An open heart combined with a nurturing touch, a relaxing environment, and the right technique will inspire the health that most of us rarely have time for in our busy lives. I understand how hard it is to take a breath and find the time, so Im very flexible with scheduling and Im even willing to come to you to help with time conflicts and finding an environment you are comfortable in. Im grateful that my clients allow me to be the healing vessel in their lives!
“I love the body and how the body is always changing. I love listening to the insights the body gives and sharing/confirming with my clients so that they can begin to foster a relationship with their own body which empowers them to heal. My ultimate goal is for the client to get to optimal health!”
